    Jon Pushkin is president of Pushkin Public Relations and one of Denver’s most widely respected PR practitioners. He is a Past Chair of the Independent Practitioner’s Alliance of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), a Past President of the Colorado Chapter of PRSA, and Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by PRSA. His work has been recognized with awards from PRSA, Colorado Healthcare Communicators and the American Marketing Association.

    Founded in 1997, Pushkin Public Relations specializes in strategic communications programs for health related clients. Successes include Mission Driven Healthcare, a workforce recruitment campaign for the Colorado's Community Health Centers, Be Stroke Smart, a national media relations campaign for the National Stroke Association; GettingUSCovered, the launch of a new Colorado health plan for people with pre-existing conditions, and Beat the Bug, a public awareness program for the Colorado health department to encourage people to get a flu shot.

    Prior to beginning his career in public relations, Jon performed at concerts, folk festivals and workshops across the country as a professional musician and promoted concerts for the legendary Denver Folklore Center.
